A portable water purification system can prove invaluable when you're away from home. It can change any H2O into a liquid that's safe to drink. It is also a much more efficient way to clean water without having to go to the trouble of boiling it. These systems use chemicals such as chlorine, iodine, and silver, to kill the viruses and bacteria. The difference between portable purifiers and portable filters is that purifiers will remove bacteria and viruses while filters get rid of bacteria and protezoans. The smaller the pores in the filter, the more it will remove; however, it will need to be cleaned out in order to remain effective.
